British Tennis

British Tennis is a membership scheme run by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) for players and supporters of tennis in Britain.

Members receive monthly e-mail newsletters, access to exclusive areas of the LTA website, discounts and offers on tennis events and (perhaps most significantly) the right to enter HWLTC’s annual ballot for Wimbledon tickets, if you are a Club member.

British Tennis membership is free for 2013. If you are a member of an affiliated club (e.g. HWLTC), membership will continue to be free (and automatically renewed) until at least 2013.

For more information and to join British Tennis, just visit the LTA website and click on the membership link at the top-right of the page. If you are a Club member, please be sure to select HWLTC from the list of clubs during the registration process. Alternatively, there is usually a supply of British Tennis application forms in the Club house.

Note that the LTA are linking British Tennis membership to Wimbledon ticket allocations. The number of tickets HWLTC get each year is related directly to the number of members we have who are registered with British Tennis, plus we are forbidden to award tickets to anybody who is not a British Tennis member on the day of the ballot.

Disclaimer: British Tennis is a scheme run by the LTA and it is entirely the decision of each individual whether or not to join.
